This issue came up with the bucking. It just started when the warranty ran out. Kinda of scary to drive it. Anyone else have this issue? What have you done? Please advise, thanks.

This is the 2nd time I have brought my Chevy Equinox into the dealer for the EXACT SAME problem. First time was 8/2017. They replaced some valves & fluid = $1400.
10/19/17 - Brought in my car to Same Dealership with the Same Problem. Hard Downshift between 35-48mph. Dealership said they had to "rip apart the transmission" to investigate the problem. later the Dealership said that the pistons & rings were burnt. I have enclosed the pictures. All that costed $2,693.56.
I have contacted General Motors & told them that my car has had 2-3 Recalls already & now up my own research, this seems to be a popular problem among many people.
General Motors refused to help out financially because its not a new car. I am the 3rd owner (Gee I wonder why). It has 80k miles on it. I had a case # on it & I also complained to the NHTSA.
The Dealership had my car for over 2 weeks due to me going back/forth with GM & the dealership. I picked up my car on 11/10/17. Car seem to work fine with no issues. On 11/12/17 - the SAME EXACT PROBLEM OCCURRED. I got a Hard Downshift AGAIN.
Today, 11/13/17 - It hard downshifted again. I called the dealership & complained that I Paid nearly $4,100 to have this problem Fixed. Upon picking up my car on 11/10/17, I was told by Dennis that my car is covered under warranty for 12k miles. Well, when I called him this morning & complained about the SAME EXACT PROBLEM, I reminded him of his own words that it should be covered & all over a sudden he said "I can't guarantee that its going to be covered".
I bet you ANY money that they will find yet another problem with the car. You would think that after the dealership had my car for so long they would Identify & Fix the problem. I Can NOT believe General Motors is not stepping up. They are proving to be very Unreliable.
