RUST APPEARED ON THE INSIDE OF THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR ON MY 2012 EQUINOX WITH ONLY 40K MILES ON IT. VERY UPSETTING.

Car is a lemon. It always is being repaired. I had a Vega that was more reliable.

Rust forming at each intersection of body panels especially near the rear wheel wells. Must be some rubbing movement occurring. I bought the Tricare Ultimate 120,000 km extended warranty (over $2000!) but, CHEV dealership says they will not cover this rust problem. This is annoying - because it is being caused by a design flaw.

My car is always washed and dried and kept in garage. I treat it like my baby. When I went in to chev dealer and talked to advisor he took pics and said GM is fully aware of this issue and repairing vechicles with the same issue in Canada! I have not heard anything else about this issue. I am so upset. I would like some contact from GM or start a class action suit for this crappy product.

rusting on bottom of doors before we bought it. Dealer said they would fix it and a year later it is rusting again. wont fix unless it is rusted through are you kidding me? Also back gate has little rust spots all over it. 2012 chev equinox.

I have a 2012 Equinox LT with 31,700 miles on it. I have rust on the bottom of the drivers door and in the wheel wells. This was going to be my last car (my age) and I kept it in a garage year round, dried by hand after washing. After reading these comments, I will save myself grief and just buy anything but a Chevy.
