From Carmax, did a control arm replacement on 08/11/2019.
03/2020 I replaced rack and pinion steering. Car most likely was not properly test drove. Abs was never verified.
Pushed down hard on brakes, not enough to activate abs. Brakes. Locked up. Released pedal, still locked. Down shifted, no results. Car skidded into the curb , onto a lawn and hit a tree at 25 mph.. Car totaled, broke my right leg, had abdomen trauma, took a liter of blood out and almost died. No one knows why. I am an ASE mechanic, AMT, aircraft and aeronautical degree. If the car was properly test droven, maybe the problem wouldn’t have occurred...
