Equinox LT 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

My Equinox is advertized at 22/32 city/highway for mileage and it has not once met the 32 mpg for highway. I use cruise and the eco boost without benefit. The dealer even looked at the vehicle and stated nothing is wrong. I am next going to GM to complain. I am not impressed with this vehicle's mileage...

Equinox

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

Bought a 2012 Equinox for the listed MPG of 36 and am getting like 25 MPG. 600 MPG per tank more like maybe 400. Drive 30 miles to work and use atleast 1/8 tank 1 way and sometimes use 1/4 tank. Asked dealer about this and they said thats just how much gas it uses. What a joke. With gas prices as high as they are they'll say anything to get you to buy there vehicles. I read somewhere that chevy told somebody that they have to wait till 3500-5000 miles before it will get better gas mileage. Don't believe it i'm over 12000 and still haven't seen good gas mileage. It's getting to the point where i can't afford to drive it to work and will either lose my job or have to quit. Class Action Lawsuit anybody. Really dissapointed with chevy on this one.
