Many times I'll notice the a/c is not cooling. I turn off the engine and restart and that will clear the warm air issue.

Today, May 26, 2018 I was driving and I heard a pop in the engine and smelled a very strong chemical smell. The a/c stopped cooling. When I got home I waited to see for the a/c condensation on the ground and saw nothing.
I went out to the car a couple hours later and saw fluid under the front of the car - same chemical smell. I touched it and it was clear and had a strong smell. I assume it was Freon or whatever they use in cars these days.
Guess I'm looking a another huge repair bill!!!!

Climate controls quit working. There is still some fan, cannot tell if AC is on or off. No control of any heat or air function. No lights on the controls.
Update from Apr 10, 2017: Fixed by pulling and replacing passenger compartment fuses. With car running and pulled fuse 15 the fan stopped. Checked fuse, it was OK. Reinserted fuse and all things came back on. Don't understand why, but seems to be fixed.

Have not had time to take to dealer yet, should be covered under extended warranty, as it is an electrical /controls wiring problem. Did not drive it much the first year, since I had company truck during the week.
I will give dealer a chance, before any rants. Wanted to see if others had similar issues.

climate control does not regulate temperature
WE bought a brand new 2013 Equinox in May 2013. In September we found the Climate control did not work properly. The GM service centre checked the unit and agrees it is malfunctioning. They do not know how to fix it, so they haven't. GM isn't responding to my queries and the dealership won't advocate with GM on my behalf.

I purchased Enjoy from Ashtavinayak Motors, Goregaon, India and yet to complete one year. I have taken the car to service centre for 6 to 7 times and have kept the car for 5 days twice in the service center for issues like malfunction light and ac issues. The service center is yet to find root cause to it. I have so many times raised complaints through email with Chevrolet but no response!

Previously spent about $1,600 at the Dealership to overcome warm air coming from the A/C vents and cool air coming from the return-air vents. The Dealership quote to replace the evaporator was $4,000. Since the trade-in value of the auto was only about $7,500 at the time I decided to shop around and saved a bit of money.
