Equinox LT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

Bought this 2013 Equinox new. The transmission went out at 19000 miles. Now radio/ infotainment center the is dead. Both are common problems to this vehicle. First new car we ever bought and last new car we ever bought.

Equinox LT 2.4L V4

  • Manual transmission
  • 130,000 miles

The infotainment system stopped working about a year ago. No radio. No Bluetooth. No navigation. No clock. No back up camera. The screen is black and has not worked at all since it first went out. Have tried some of the suggested solutions on YouTube but nothing has worked. Very frustrating and disappointing. I am finally able to take it in to get it looked at and get an estimate for repair or replacement. I don't know how much it will cost yet, but I've been saving up for it. You have no idea how annoying it is to drive with no music or clock.

Hoping for a simple solution.

Equinox LT 2.4L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 106,000 miles

My infotainment system stopped working. Prior to the radio completely not working, the screen would go black, radio would shut off then come back on when it felt like it, back up camera would only work half the time. This is ridiculous! $1200 to replace the radio receiver!!!!!!!!! I spend a great deal of time in my vehicle for work and having children in multiple sports. No radio is a real bummer!!!! This is a common problem I have found after doing weeks of research on this problem! Why is it not a recall?

Equinox LT1 V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 71,874 miles

Everything was running fine. I came home, parked the car. I went back in the car started it up and noticed the back up camera not working, the screen was black. I then realized the whole system was not working. No Bluetooth, backup camera, radio, nothing. I checked the interior fuses which looked good, even replaced them. Nothing. I tried Onstar, as some other sites suggested turning it on and off, nothing.

I took the fuses out for 10 minutes, then put them back in, nothing. I have yet to disconnected the battery and see if that works. I will have to have someone help me as I am a senior, I am taking care of my husband who has cancer, and I don't know a lot about cars. Someone said there is also a fuse box under the hood.

I will update this as soon as I can get someone to help. Very frustrating. I am afraid that something else will go wrong. If anyone has any suggestions, other than shelling out mega bucks for a new My link infotainment system I am open to some help!
