Equinox LX 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

Took it back to dealer as rusting has been an issue from 6 months in. They said GM will not cover it until rusted completely through. Entire area of lower door rusted and is rusted on frame. Very upset about the quality of this vehicle.

Equinox LS 2.4L I4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

Our 2013 (Garage Kept) and frequently washed Chevrolet Equinox is having rust bubbles and paint missing on the bottoms of the doors with visual rust forming. Keep in mind, we take great care of our car and do not allow it to remain dirty for long. We are out of the corrosion warranty so I am going to try with the dealer anyway to see if they can help in any way.

Equinox

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

Car repair shop stated this has been a problem with Chevrolet Equinox. Contact with company will not acknowledge it has a problem and since the 3 year warranty is over the company will not fix the problem.

Equinox LT 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

I paid cash for the vehicle. I also paid for a extra coating on the paint. 2 years later @ 28k miles the bottom of the doors are rusting out. For a vehicle that you pay 27 thousand dollars for plus an extra coating for, one would not expect ANY rust on the vehicle at all.
