Purchased 2013 Chevy Equinox ltz on Jan 2013. A month later a moldy/rubbery smell coming from the ac vents. It was getting worst so I took it to the dealer for check up. They cleaned and disinfected ac system. Installed a blower compressor to dry water that sits from ac.on...hum... they told me since I live in the state of Texas, I will have this problem...hum... just be aware this vehicle will not survive on a tropic climate because of the mold.... lame excused from dealer. Two years later still having same problem...take it to the dealer and they clean and disinfect air vents and keeps happening. April 2014 taking it back for that and other issues that I will address here. Thank you. Very disappointed with GM building defective cars and not admitting it. My first and my last american car.
