Have a 2015 Equinox with 30000 miles on it and this problem sounds so familiar. My battery went dead one night for no apparent reason. Then problems with the air-heater knob being froze when I needed heat. When it got to work again, the settings were off. Had it in a year earlier for air-conditioning not getting cold enough but they could find a problem (knob)? Now when I turn the heater knob to max hot, it turns cold. Going in tomorrow for a new dash circuit board (3 months past my bumper to bumper warranty) I say the problems are related but they say their not. HA. Now I have to worry about a fire hazard?? Like with a similar problem in a different model.

I bought this vehicle used with 32,495 miles on it. The minute I drove it off the lot, the stabili-itrac warning lights came on and my gauges went to ZERO. I had it looked at and they said my sensors just needed cleaning.
Then it happened again recently and took it in and they ran an update on something, but now 2 days later, the same thing is happening. Not happy at all.

This has sporadically occurred on this car. The radio and controls suck on a good day but when it freezes there is nothing to fix it without shutting the car off and restarting. Sad commentary on an otherwise decent transportation module.

I got this car in March, haven't had any issues up until today. My console lights won't go out and my radio doesn't work. The display screen it's stuck on my last phone calls that I made. My Bluetooth won't connect. And I can't reset it or anything. And when I turn the car off the light's stays on. I know my battery will be drained in the morning. Please Chevrolet fix this issue.

Okay, It is a BRAND NEW CAR. Not a mile on it when purchased. Now the center dash freezes, radio won't work, blue tooth won't work, steering wheel controls don't work, and when the car is off with key removed the center dash lights stay on and the battery drains. Then I need a jump on a brand new vehicle. This is random and annoying as heck since it had me stranded already! The dealership tells me there is nothing they can do, and that I just have to deal with it till GM figures out a fix.

I brought this vehicle with 22000 miles on it. Therefore, I'm still paying for this truck. This is a major electrical component and should be covered under warranty. This is a GM defect. This should never go out on a vehicle. My radio, lights, sensors, odometer, everything goes crazy. Why should the customer be left with this expense. The cost is $575.00 to replace this part.
