I was out of town when check engine light came on. I mean like about 200 miles from home. Did not know if I could drive home or what to do. I had to have a tester on it so I knew what light meant. It said camshaft sensor.
It could be a bad sensor or timing chain or camshaft. I was advised if oil is okay, to drive straight home. So I made it home. I'm taking it to a Chevy dealer and if it is only the sensor, it's $200.00, but it could be more if that's not the problem. Go figure - my warranty was over in May. Urghhh!
