purchased this car end of my lease, the financial individual handling the paper work sold me a mechanical Failure Service contract, for $1693.00. but the contract was for Technology coverage, not engine or power train like I wanted, he told me this covers everything. Now I have a problem with the engine or transmission per the on star memo sent to my email. The Ganley service department told me the contract was for technology items and would not cover engine, etc. But my car doesn't have any of the items under this plan; no advanced driver assistance system(backup, fwd.and surround cameras, parking assistance, active blind spot monitoring, sys., lane departure warning , exterior motion sensors, rear parking sonar, near object avoidance, collision avoidance, all modules for driver assistance systems) , no audio/visual systems,(global positioning, GPS, display screens, TV screens, DVD player, radio/ graphic equalizer/compact disc player, amplifiers) my car only has a back up camera! I was never given any paper work showing me what the Technology coverage was for. So I paid for $1693.00 for items my car doesn't have!! Had my car towed to local repair shop and they told me timing chain loosen up and damaged the valves, no cylinder compression, engine shot!!! LOW OIL PRESSURE did this ! There was no waring until the oil was almost gone. I was on my way from Erie, PA to Cleveland, OH . Stopped and put in 4 qts. of oil! I guess it was to late
