On Sunday while exiting the interstate I started hearing a noise coming from under the hood. I immediately pulled into a mini mall lot and turned the vehicle off. I had no warning lights, bells, or whistles alert me. I noticed there was also a gas smell.
Quite a lot of oil was under my car. I had it towed to the dealer (not a GM dealer).
All I know is there is a spun rod. I don’t know why it happened. To save me money they didn’t dive in the engine to try to diagnose why.
I have really taken very good care of this vehicle. Never late on an oil change. The part that makes me the sickest is it was 190 miles past the warranty I purchased when I bought it!
I don’t even know where to go with it from here!
