General Motors has been producing vehicles which currently include Chevy Cruise 2016-2018, Chevy Equinox 2018-2020 and GMC Terrain 2018-2020 with CHEMICAL TYPE ODOR emitting into the interior cabin from HVAC. GM is aware of the issue, creating a technical service bulletin PIT5726, but does not have a current fix for the problem - yet continues to make vehicles with this problem. Unaware consumers may potentially be exposing themselves and other occupants inside the vehicle to a Chemical Pollution posing a Health Safety Concern.
