First time getting on the highway for 2.5 hours. After 2 hours of driving the car revved really bad then stopped accelerating. I had to pull over cut off the car and restart, then barely push the gas to barely accelerate as it slowly built up enough for me to park somewhere safe. Just got it out the shop from them replacing the high pressure fuel pump and the engine light is on again a day later for the exhaust system. Strongly considering trading in.

2023 Equinox FWD - 36468 km on the car. City driving engine goes into limp mode. Made it home, parked overnight, pulled sensor in the air filter system, cleaned it. Car back to normal. Two weeks later engine goes into limp mode. Drove to Chev Dealership, told you have bad gas this is why the limp mode. Service cleared codes (note 3 codes were displayed) and drove another two weeks and engine goes into limp mode. This time I read the code and it's the high pressure fuel pump.
Back to the Dealership, yes its the fuel pump. New pump installed under warranty. Of course before I got there I printed off GM's printed material instructions/notice to dealerships that the fuel pump was a problem and left the printed form on my seat. Funny how co-operative a dealership becomes when you know your stuff. Only issue I have now is since this is a 2 year old recall, when is my newly installed $650 Cdn fuel pump going to fail again, because my money is on nobody updated/fixed the fuel pumps being sent out for replacement. Other than this first issue I still enjoy the car.
