The turn signal stalk, when self-canceling from a right turn, will drop too hard, and will turn on the left turn signal after the turn, causing confusion to not only the vehicle operator, but other drivers on the road. This has happened on multiple occasions.

The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV. The contact stated that after charging the electric motor, the vehicle immediately lost charge within twenty minutes of driving. The contact stated that the vehicle would not properly remain charged. The contact was concerned that the vehicle might lose automotive power and stall. The vehicle also failed to blow warm air, making it difficult to defrost the windows. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact previously received a letter from the manufacturer about reducing the charging time to prevent a fire risk. The failure mileage was 50.

The turn signal going in either direction has 2 positions. The first is regular on that keeps the turn signal on until it is turned off or until steering wheel is turned off. The other position is the -??flick-?? that flashes the signal 3 times and turns it off on its own. When I set my turn signal to the regular on position to turn right, after I complete my turn the signal turns itself off and goes into the default off position. However when returning itself into the off position, it ends up going into the -??flick-?? position for left turn. The signal then flashes left 3 times and turns off. So to summarize, after turning right while using the turn signal, it flicks itself into the left turn position. This is distracting to me while driving and may confuse other drivers as well. I took it into the dealer for this issue and they said they could not replicate it. No warning lights or anything like that. I have video proof of this happening
