The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet express G2500. While driving approximately 65 mph the engine began to rev. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, and the throttle body position sensor was replaced. After the repair, the vehicles road performance was poor. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, and the iac valve connector was replaced. The failure mileage was 50,000. The current mileage was 52,000. Updated 12/08/09. The consumer stated the high idle problem was hard to diagnose. Te dealer discovered a burnt wire. Updated 12/10/09
