The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Express 2500. The contact stated that the driver side door mountain bracket that was attached to the arm rest of the door panel fractured from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician stated that the entire door panel would need to be replaced because the part was not available separately. The manufacturer was contacted and was unable to assist. The contact stated that the repairs were covered under warranty but he was concerned that the failure would recur in the future. The approximate failure mileage was 19,300.
