problem #1

HHR LT1 2.4L

within 2 months of winter conditions and Chev's custom mudflaps installed for this vehicle, the sound deadiner material was so absorbent, ever time it froze from runoff from the windshield, it expanded more and more, bulging the fender 1cm(3/8"approx) and popped the bottom bolt off the mudflap, by ripping the bolt from the running board off the car. I asked them right away if it was covered, but they said it was more cosmetic. and not covered. I suppose a simple fix would be a fiberglass dab and re-drill the hole through the running board, but a new running board is $800, not sure if that's per side or per set
