The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet HHR. The contact stated that the driver's side door could not be opened from the inside. In addition, the remaining doors could not be or unlocked by using the automatic key remote. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the issue. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 70,108. Updated 09/26/12 updated 9/26/12 the consumer stated the remote no longer works. Updated 09/27/12 the consumer stated GM agreed to pay for the majority of the repairs if he agreed to a reasonable amount. Updated 10/03/12
