The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet HHR. While driving approximately 35 mph, the service air bag indicator illuminated. Also, the windows did not roll down and the speakers did not work. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was called, but did not call back. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.

Exterior "sun visor" started to vibrate at high speed (70 mph). The 2 adhesive posts that are attached to the windshield detached from the windshield. Vibrations caused the windshield to crack.

Chevy HHR vehicle. Dangerous window defect. Windows implode for no apparent reason. Shoddy workmanship on the window seals. Were traveling in portland down highway 05 when the back drivers side window just imploded for no reason. Glass was thrown all over the car. If there had been a passenger sitting there they could have been seriously hurt or blinded by flying glass. These vehicles should be recalled until this problem with the windows is fixed.
