After replacing the battery, the car still wasn't holding a charge. No power, slow to turn over, etc. Took it to the dealership to see if they could duplicate the problem. Of course they couldn't... big surprise!! They had it all day, drove it around and couldn't find a problem. My husband drove it for 5 min. and decided to test the alternator. Guess what? It checked out "bad" and he called the dealership to see if a bad alternator could cause the problems he described. They said, sure, it could cause all kinds of symptoms/problems! Amazing that my husband had the car 5 min. and figured it out while they had the car an entire day and couldn't diagnose the problem. On top of that they charged us $72 for checking the car out!!!! Luckily my husband was able to replace the alternator himself and we only had to pay for parts.
