I have a 2000 Chevrolet Impala with this HORRIBLE 3.4L engine that has caused me nothing but problems since just a few months after purchasing the car. I had not idea that there were so many other people with this same blown head gasket. All the mechanics I have taken it to say its an engine problem that would be more expensive to fix than it would be worth. I would love to just get a new f*cking engine altogether because this P.O.S. does nothing but leak and cause "HOT COOLANT TEMPERATURE", "SERVICE ENGINE" AND EVERY OTHER NOTIFICATION LIGHT TO COME ON AND STAY ON FOR MONTHS NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.

I bought this car in 2005 with 96,000 miles on it. It had a weak transmission then, I found out after having it for a few weeks. It has always started, but since I have had it I have had to replace both front bearings, fix warped rotors (and been through 2 sets of brakes all the way around, and 2 sets of tires too!). Replaced wiper linkage because it stripped out. Oh and watch out for that plastic molding along the bottom! It likes to support body rot!
