i could never get the f*ckin window up.. it would have a mind of its own. it worked only a when it wanted to.
if your rolling the window back up, the driver window, you need to wiggle the button while pressing it and the window will roll up..
you're gonna have to replace it eventually

This was the 4th time this happened on this vehicle. In total it has cost me $1800 to repair the problem with the power windows dropping down and not being able to raise them back up. Twice with the driver door windows, once with the passenger door window (in the middle of nowhere on the interstate) and once with the right rear door window. This time I stomped my foot and felt it was a Chevrolet problem and they should fix it free. The dealer disagreed, so I had to pay to get it fixed. I complained to Chevrolet and the GM CEO directly. Their answer was the car, despite being in excellent condition (per the dealer) was too old and had too many miles on it. When I pointed out the fact that there are many cars of this vintage still on the roads, I was told there was nothing they would do about it. The dealer suggested that I buy a different car off the lot and they would apply the $480 towards the purchase price. My advice is to be wary of the Government Motors, I mean General Motors, power windows. Because of this incident GM has lost a long time GM automobile customer.

Not sure what to do. Anyone have a fix?

The window motor simply went out on the side view mirrors and the driver door. Dealership said its $400 to replace it. The motor cost $40 max and I'm sure it doesn't take a genius to FIY. My car was used btw so I really have no idea why it went out or what kind of punishment it received before I got it.
