Impala LS 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

I have taken this car to the dealer a week after I bought it. Yeah, I know most people say you should have given it back but i never thought it would amount to this.

After it rains you can hear the water in the floorboard sloshing back and forth. I had to buy a shop vac so i could vacuum out the car every time it rains. The dealer didn't fix the issue in the beginning and now its bad bad bad and and i can't afford to fix it.

Impala LS 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,000 miles

The leak came from above the glove compartment and hit the carpet under the dash high towards the top of the carpet meaning it was in the cowl area and might have been a cracked factory seam. It might even be the lower part of the windshield------------> (happens when it rains only) I don`t know. Please if anyone has repaired this problem enter an entry reguarding this issue-Thanks-Mark

Impala LS 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 104,000 miles

I've had my car since July '07. I haven't had anything major wrong with my car until May'08. My transmission went out! Luckily, I had an extended warranty and I had it replaced. Well, since that day every time it rains my front passenger carpet gets soaked! I don't know if one of the mechanics with the Chevy service center inadvertently caused the problem or what. Any suggestions on repairing this issue would be great. Thanks.
