My son drives this car. We have had it for about a year. Right after buying it we had to have it flushed, kept running hot. Replaced the radiator, water pump, overflow tank, head gasket, new thermostat, all brake lines, fuel filter, fuel lines and more. I won't get into the rest but now the car stalls, mostly when stopped at a light or just driving. It starts right back up, sometime it needs to sit. No check engine light comes on so I can't get a reading. I was told to try a fuel regulator. I have been reading on here a lot of people are having the same problems with theie car stalling at anytime. Maybe someone knows about a fix. Thanks.

Car has been randomly jerking while driving, when it does I noticed the RPMs drop then jump back up.

I was driving on the interstate early morning doing 60-65 mph when all of a sudden the red battery light comes on and I had no power steering. I immediately hit my emergency flashers and started to maneuver from the center to the side of the highway, however, I was in a construction zone so hence no shoulder. I was able to get the car stopped at a ramp where cars would be entering the interstate, I got lucky because a car that was coming up the ramp to enter the interstate stopped. I had put the car in neutral while I was maneuvering the car through traffic and turned the key several times attempting to get the car to start, it did finally start after I got the car stopped. I immediately took off and made it to work safely that morning. I took surface streets home that evening in fear of a repeat of that morning.

The car was driven the next day with no repeat to the previous day. I looked up repair records for the car and in June of 2011, the mass air flow sensor failed and was replaced. This car has had problems the traction control system. It has had wheel bearings replaced due to anti-lock break problems and that problem was fixed for a while but that problem is also back again. Needless to say, I feel like I am driving a death trap.

I've been driving the car but when I go to start the car will sometimes start right off and then there are times that I have to keep trying. Tonight I went in the store and came out to it starting and not cranking immediately. Then when I shift gears, the car stalls. It kept doing this. Finally got it in neutral and had to switch gears this way with my foot on the gas the whole way home. If I had to turn or come to a short stop, the car would stall and lock up again! Not safe!!!! Don't have a clue what the problem is. The Oil lights keeps telling me to change the oil but I have another 1000 miles until it's time and there's no oil issues. I've been using gas like crazy though. HELP!

Update from Mar 31, 2013: After looking on the internet forever....I have found and tried something that has worked! Here it is: Here is the relearn procedure.

Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON, vehicle will not start. Observe the SECURITY telltale. After approximately 10 minutes , the telltale will turn OFF. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Pass lock Sensor Data Code and/or password XXXXX the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds . Start the engine, the vehicle has now learned the voltage reading coming back from the ignition switch.
