Fuel gauge stays at full until tank is down to about 2 gallons then it drops to empty. that immediatly causes the compass and temperature to change to the mileage on the multi screen. (I'm sure that isn't technically the correct description - so sue me.) Motion of the vehicle will immedietly return it to full for awhile.
