transmission needs to be replaced - costs too much, my mechanic recommended just driving it until it goes.

Impala Sedan 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

We have had problems with this car for the past year, first we took it to a dealership and they kept it over night and put it on a machine and at first did not find anything. Then told me it was a full pump that was going bad and I had it replaced. Then I had fuel filter replaced along with new spark plugs and wires. Now I am told it has a bad transmission, so I am lost now in what to think and what hurt me so is this is a GM product and I am a

GM employee. It started out by not starting when you put gas in it and after replacing pump , then it started all this jerking and hesitation when changing gears from stoppage at red lights and all this has become a pain in my ass. Thinking I have spent all this money and not sure what the main problem is still.

As I had said in my engine complaint this is looking like my last GM purchase.
