Had this car since 2005. Had to replace the dash, GM would not cover it, not a problem they said, $800. Now the intake gasket has blown, they replaced it, would not cover the problem and say there is no issue with heir intake gaskets. I have found many referneces to this problem on the net, including a class action that has been won in California! Cost me over $900 to get this problem fixed. GM has made me a die hard Toyota fan now.

Well I just got back from spending $200 at the dealer getting the piece of crap intermediate steering shaft replaced, (The same thing that I had fixed about 5 times on my 2002 Silverado, and that my sister had to have fixed on her Malibu, and my dad had to have replaced on his Impala) and I notice that what I originally thought was water on the garage floor, was actually antifreeze. I checked the overflow jug and it was about empty. After it cooled down, I took the cap off and saw fluid in the radiator but a bunch of red sludge in the neck. On the drive home from the dealer, and on my way to work this morning, I noticed that the heat wasn't working very good either. I decided to look on the internet and low and behold, it looks like one more stupid Chevy design that is going to cost me a butt load of money. I was originally happy with the car, but I have to agree with the others, this is probably going to be my last GM car. I don't have a grand to get it fixed so I am just gonna have to put the dex cool in for a while. My low coolant light hasn't came on yet, but I am sure it will any day now.

I'm not sure where the car is leaking coolant. I have 2 little puddles on the garage floor, on each side of the car.

Had similar as the others on this board. I plan to contact GM to see if they can be of any help. Might want to try as well, 313-667-7153

Now its leaking dam coolant. I noticed it when I was looking under the hood on morning. I don't know where it is coming from , I believe it is coming from the hoses buy the engine. I have had all the clamps replaced that hold the hoses together. BUT it is srill leaking, this is sh*t. I have to add coolant about twice a week. It was loosing coolant but not on the ground.
This is really a pain in the ass. It is always something with this car. I have never had this many problems with a fairly new car.

Coolant disappearing, I believe causing fogged windows and I also think its due to some blown gasket, working on it now
