Bad exhaust / gas smell inside and outside car. Took in to mechanic but he couldn't find anything. I worry that a fire might start in it and at same time wish it would then I'd be done with this piece of junk!

About two years ago we noticed a strong smell of gas intermittently. It seemed to be worse in warm and hot weather. It has gotten much worse. You can smell the odor inside and outside the car. We're waiting for GM to do the right thing and do a recall. They know there is a problem. It just seems like these big companies don't care about what kind of service you get once you drive off the lot.

dual climate control lights went out about 50000 miles and now I have a gas leak at the fuel pressure regulator..of course this all happened starting 4 days after my EXTENDED warranty ran out!!! What bullshit huh!?! I can't afford all these problems! At this time-who can!? I just hope that the greedy bastards get what they deserve in the end and that's sad to say coming from someone MAKING THE METAL STAMPINGS THAT PUT THE CAR TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE.....just a shame that their standards are lower than ours!!!!!!!

The car all the sudden started to have a real strong gas smell in the engine and interior of the car. I took it to the dealer and they could smell it but couldn't find it. I told them that it seems to smell after it has been sitting over night. They said bring it in the next day if it is leaking again and I did because it was leaking again. But this time I saw were it was leaking and wasted no time to drive it back to the dealer. It was leaking from the gas regulator in the engine. I called GM and they said SORRY nothing we can do. It cost me $278.00 to fix and now there is another problem.

Along with other problems, such as needing a new water pump, speedometer going out, gas gauge going out, we can smell a fuel leak in the interior of the car. My wife drives this car and you know how women are on this subject. She can live with the bad speedometer and the gas gauge working but the fuel smell she can not live with.
