My drivers side wiper quit working durring a blizzard. I was lucky I was in a parking lot and not on the street at the time as this caused my wipers to get tangeled up and could have caused on accident. How many other times has this happened to other people and no one is saying anything or even worse has it cause an accident where someone has been killed... or should there be a safty recall.

It was in the middle of a major pain in the butt snow storm and the passenger side wiper stopped working all together. We parked and let the worst of the torm pass, but by then the roads were nothing but slush and it was awful to have to drive and not be able to see out of that side of the window. I'm afraid to use the other one too much for fear of burning up the motor. It just won't do anything! No squirting washer fluid and not moving an inch! Great! Just what I need in December in Utah! Can't get a hold of anyone at the dealership shop either! I'll just keep trying. Also, how the hell do you get the fuse panel cover off? I almost broke my fingers trying before giving up.

My windshield wipers stopped working during a severe storm. They got tangled up and stopped working. This is the third time it has happened. And I feel the manufacturer should be responsible for getting my car repaired instead of me, since they can't fix the problem.

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala, for the third time my wind shield wipers stop working during a rain storm. At first they get criss-crossed and then stop. Only the wiper on the passenger side will work. Then they both stop. Tonight it rained so hard I could not see and ran across a median into a ditch. I have had this happen three times. Is there something wrong with the motor? I am tired of this happening to me and I just hope if it happens again I get out of the situation alive.

Again my windshield wipers stopped working while it was raining really bad. What am I to do in a time like this. It is very scary and you feel helpless. During the time you need your car to do it's part in securing you, it fails you. They just stopped working. Did not move-at all. I had to stop in the middle of the road with my emergency lights on and watch other cars go around me.

This is a really frustrating problem. My wiper blades will simply stop during the most inopportune times, heavy rain on the interstate, for example. Or, the driver side blade will "pterodactyl" around my rear view mirror ... that's always fun on the interstate.
