I was forced to make repairs to ignition system that Chevrolet refused to cover. My cost to dealer $969.61 I was told by GM to wait for a recall announcement and seek reimbursement at that time. On 8/12 GM issued a recall on my vehicle for these affected parts. I have heard nothing back from GM concerning my claim for reimbursement. Is GM obligated to reimburse me for this repair that could have been avoided had the issued a prompt recall on my vehicle?
