Own 2006 Chevy Impala, noticed since began lease with vehicle that seatbelt doesn't always lock. Driving on 9/12/07, had to slam on the brakes to avoid a vehicle running a red light, I flew forward into the steering wheel because the seat belt was not tight and locked. Took vehicle to dealer the next day and they acknowledged the issue and replaced the seat belt parts. Updated 09/17/07.
