Left (drivers side) rear door will not close after opening. When shut, the door bounces back open. After several attempts to close the door, it will close. When you get in and put the car into drive, the door will open and warning lights will come on telling you the left rear door is open. This has happened for about the past month. To the point now where I won't even open the door because there is no guarantee it will close again. This is a major safety issue, I have an infant that rides in the back of the car and a faulty door is not something I want to be worrying about.

2007 Impala drivers door handle broke under normal usage and was repaired under extended warranty but car has only 70000 miles. Also the rear tires are wearing out fast and unusual wear on the inside edges. This weekend had to replace tires again since steel belts were showing and local shop is stating they see this all the time on Impala. I have researched on line and see many complaints but no recall from GM.

The door handle to my 2007 chevorlet Impala was pulled loose while opening an unlocked door. The door handle became detached at the end where the key goes into the driver side door. It is now in a state where if someone wants to pull it out to break into the car, it is very easy to do.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the brakes would squeak very loudly when the brake pedal was depressed. The dealer stated that the brakes were lubricated and should be fine. Two months later, the tire pressure sensor illuminated on the instrument panel. The dealer placed air into the tire and the sensor warning light illuminated again. The dealer stated that the sensor malfunctioned; therefore, it was replaced and recalibrated. The contact then began to hear a rattling noise coming from the rear passenger side. The dealer stated that the bracket for the exhaust manifold malfunctioned and was repaired. The latch mechanism on the driver's side door malfunctioned and caused the door to shake rapidly while in motion. The dealer replaced the door latch. While driving 40 mph, he suddenly depressed the brake pedal to avoid a crash on the interstate. The driver's seat bracket snapped and threw the contact backwards into the rear seat. The passenger in the vehicle grabbed the steering wheel to avoid a crash. The contact was completely displaced from the normal driving position. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and was unable to be driven. The dealer stated that the seat needed to be replaced, but made the necessary repairs in order for the vehicle to be driven again. The failure mileage was 100 and current mileage was 21,932.
