Heat, odometer and keyless entry on car stopped working simultaneously today after tire pressure sensor went while riding on a donut to get off the highway. Didn't the manufacturers think it might be a good idea for the pressure sensor to go off while riding on a temporary instead of having it flash until error? They really care!!! Not sure which way is up or down. So tired of paying notes on trash cars! And my car also has the skunky smell.

Well lucky me, I get to post yet another complaint on this fine automobile. My keyless entry remotes went dead in the water. Nothing worked. The car had to be manually locked and unlocked, the trunk manually opened from the interior of the car and of course the keyless starter did not work. I took this vehicle once again to the dealership where I purchased it. I took it on a Thursday. Even had an appointment, but it was 45 minutes after my appointment time before they even looked at it. Finally, they brought me the keys, said they had to re-program the keyless remotes and that I was ready to go, problem solved. I leave in the car and continue on to a restaurant with my husband and guess what ? Yep and it's after 6:00 pm so have to wait another day. Phoned the dealership on Friday morning, they said we're too busy today, bring it in on Monday morning. I took it in there on Monday morning and was told by the service department that they have no clue what to do now. So after some complaining they sent me home in a rental car. I went and picked the car up the next day and was told there was a GM Bulletin out for this problem. They replaced all the parts having to do with the keyless remote and so far, knock on wood it's still working. Not real sure why this GM Bulletin wasn't found on the Thursday when I had the vehicle in there for this same problem, I guess they just like seeing me !! I also told them that I'm having problems with the cruise control kicking off for no reason. It's not often, but there is no reason for it to disengage itself. I'm sure I'm heading to Chapter 3 with this fine automobile while GM is laughing all the way to the bank !!

It was great that GM put a remote start system on the Chevys, but if you have to be
8 feet from the car, it's really useless. We have an 07 Impala that has had 2 modules
installed at the dealership trying to correct the issue (they have been more than helpful), but it still does not function any better. My calls to the Chevrolet complaint center have
been futile. I know of other people who own 07 Impalas who have the same issue. If the
factory installed remote doesn't perform any better than this, I'd be better off putting in
an after market remote, because I know they work well.

Like i told the last person, when purchased car and noticed the auto unlock/start was intermittent.... At first it was blamed on frigid temperatures. I waited until a thaw and still had problems so I made an appointment. Oh yeah, also on the information panel when first start car a "service tire monitoring system" alert appears. The 1st appointment was in dealer for 5 hours when they stated they needed to order new key fobs and an antenna. Now just last week (oh, about 2.5 weeks went by) I went back to dealer to have new stuff installed to fix issue....4 hours later and late to work they weren't done so by 4pm and they called me and said some module had to be ordered; supposedly now this whole issue revolves around this back ordered module... I get the new key fobs and the antenna was installed but still didn't fix issue. According to service department GM was making them go through all the hoops. I really don't understand it. Oh I forgot, while waiting 2nd I told them to change oil since it said 30% oil life. Anyway when theguy called me at 4 and said the part is on backorder we will bring car to you i inquired if oil change was done, he said yes. so when get in car and on way home noticed it still said 30% oil life... By time got home service was closed. I bitched him out next day and he "assured" me it was done the guy just didn't re-set something. Needless to say i was pissed and told the guy if they can't reset something simple do they know what's going on. I advised the guy too that if i waited 2 weeks for an antenna where the hell is it.... That's when i was informed it was an INTERNAL antenna that goes under the headliner.... So dig this when i went into my car I was kind of looking around just to see signs of progress whamo there it was.... Ya know the molding between the passenger door and front window? The morons bent it back... Now i gotta bitch the guy out again and get yet another part. This is an ongoing nightmare, just to be a lazy ass, but hey i paid for it and i want it fixed. Anyway my bitch is not the recall its the service department but wanted to let people know that if your fobs aren't working it may be awhile before they do.
