My husband had to remove the box under the igniton. WE had to squeeze our hands into the ignition wires to release a button underneath to release the key. still having trouble with it to this day. Lets talk about the electrical problems... doors won't unlock/ lock with button, have to put key in passenger door and climb to each door and unlock. I will have to start using the technique where I start the car and roll down the window... but I have a 2 year old... how about my trunk won't open at all. Grocery shopping is horrible with your 2 year old in the back and all the groceries are out of the bag about time you get home. OR how about that clicking noise when you use the ac/heater ... whenever you touch the thermostat it gets out of control . You can hear it through loud music as well. So embarrassing. Once upon a time my car wouldn't do anything but stay in park. I'd turn my car in reverse, did nothing. Put in drive, nothing... this car has been pretty much sucking for me. And I've only had it for a few weeks.

Can't get the key out of the ignition switch without "jiggling" the gear shift lever. This is just another of the MANY repairs/problems with this piece of crap car. I'll never buy another Chevrolet or GM............Repair shop can't "estimate" repair cost until "everything is taken apart". I've already called the dealership we purchased this vehicle through and told them to remove us from all future mailings. Next call/email is to Chevrolet/GMC.

I cannot get the key out of ignition. They told me there was a recall and when the part came it would fix it. Well, instead they did something to the key and still can't get key out without inserting a screw driver in the side of the ignition and push up on something inside the panel. Sometimes it's easy, most the time I have to use flashlight to see what I am doing. The dealer says for $200 they can maybe tell me what is wrong. What a rip off! I don't have money fix it. I am getting tired of all this run around. So many things wrong.

Now I need new gas cap. Also the back doors won't unlock with the fob. I roll window down and pull up lock. What a hassle. Main concern is the ignition.
