I have a 2008 Impala. It is a good car and reliable but the hood of the vehicle on the car is starting to spider web and it looks really ugly. I took it to a few different body shops and it is going to cost anywhere from $400 - 600 to fix. Such an inconvenience considering that it is not an old car. Really upset and when I called GM they just said that it is not in warranty and nothing they can do about it.

When I bought this car I saw areas in the paint job runs and chips they were supposed to take care of but they did nothing. probably a new paint job but they wouldn't fix runs i saw. Chevy doesn't keep there promises so don't purchase if you don't want the headache.

I bought my car in 2009; it had been used as a demo, and was in perfect shape. I love the car; the interior is perfect, sound system is Bose, it's paid for! Last year, I noticed the exterior paint had begun chipping off the little wing on the back. Then the back right door began doing the same thing. I am retired; a new paint job is not in my fixed income budget...guess I'm stuck with it..and a nice looking car remains important to some older consumers..
