problem #2

Impala LS 3.2lV6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,468 miles

just going to phone chev dealer humberview and ask what they know. Also see a few mechanics and ask.

If they suggest a huge price to fix the problem I will follow up with you. From what I see , quite a few people have the same problem.

Up in Canada and today is Family Day and no-one open. Will phone tomorrow. The problem has occurred twice and is annoying.

However the car has been fantastic but out of warranty. Just had brakes done a month ago and found out that the last mechanic did not lubricate the caliper pins 2 years ago and the job had failed as a result. I do not put many km on the car ( 15000 at most per year) and this ticked me off. $700 unnecessary and went to another mechanic rather than fight with previous mechanic. The mechanic who fixed it knew the other repair shop and said this was quite common ( place too cheap to grease the pins)

Thanks for letting me rant. Still love the car.

After replacing Accelerator Pedal Sensor Assembly the ABS, Traction Control, and Stability System lights stay on, shut off for a while and then all three come back on.
