problem #2

Apr 202012

Impala LT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

Unable to clearly see behind me because of large rear headrests! Backed into another vehicle because of the blind spot these headrests cause. Very unsafe!!!

rear headrests are too large rear headrests are too large rear headrests are too large

There was definitely a design flaw in the rear seat headrest of the 2011 Chevy Impala's. Extremely too tall to see over, if you are lucky maybe the tops of the cars behind you. I can't believe GM has not done a recall on this?! If I had took the time to research this more I would not had purchase this car.

I really like the car and the room but the lack of visibility in the rear glass due to the rear back seat headrest makes it a threat to be on the road. When or how long will it take GM to wake up and see this problem?! There are still several thousands if not millions of 2011 Chevy Impalas still on the road today. Please GM, step up or man up and take care of this problem before people are killed being ran over or not seeing on coming traffic!!!

Improving the problem in the 2012 models did not fix the problem in the 2011 models!!!
