Lower control arm broken. If I had not had to get the car inspected I would not have known it was broken. Could have resulted in loss of control of the car, possibly death. I do not understand why this is a problem with Chevy Impalas. Definitely disappointed!!!

A car of this age should NEVER have this problem. This Impala has been nothing but trouble and Chevy won't take any responsibility for their poor workmanship/design. I should NOT have to be worrying about this sort of repair for at least another 5-10 years....if that.
I will never ever buy another Chevrolet product again. I have a 1996 Toyota Corolla with 192000 miles on it and have NEVER had a repair of this magnitude.
This is a serious repair that I DO NOT have the money to have fixed. What am I going to do? I guess risk my life along with others on the highway and pray that it doesn't completely break.
