Impala LTZ 3.9L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,900 miles

I really like this car but the transmission issue is particularly annoying, especially since it crops up after the warranty expires and it inevitably fails at the worst possible time. It's a defect in materials that is definitely a warranty issue that Chevrolet does not wish to address.I am forced to either replace the trans out of my pocket or trade the car in for a newer model that does not experience this issue. In either case I'm out big bucks. I'll probably buy another Chevy in the future but I will really do my homework to prevent another expensive mistake.
