While driving vehicle warning light service stabilitrak....reduced engine power comes on. Vehicle then slows and can not drive over 20 to 30 mph. This has occurred randomly at highway speeds while driving on interstate in traffic. Sudden reduction caused traffic to have to slow quickly and almost caused a collision.

Wiring harness is defective and friction causes electrical misfires that affect the entire vehicle, from deacceleration while driving to not being able to turn over the engine to start. I've been dealing with this issue for over 4 years and GM nor any safety commission will do anything in terms of a recall. This complaint is the only recourse that I have in order to notify public of the issue. This is extremely concerning as it can cause safety hazard on road.

I've had my 2013 lt Impala for 39 months I am currently financing this vehicle however the actuators I keep repeating and they keep going out constantly and the repairs are very expensive I've replaced these multiple times and after a month it does the problem again which ended up draining my battery each time. I have replaced my battery for a brand new one and everything was fine I got the problem of all 3 actuator fixed and here we are now and my vehicle is dead the battery was drained because the actuators keep going out and the ticking noise never stops and it goes even when I'm not present in the car and random times throughout the night without the key in the ignition

Upon using the key fob to lock or unlock doors, or just opening an unlocked door, a loud clicking sounds starts from under the dash and can last for a couple of minutes and shift side from drive side to passenger side and back. The A/C nor heat works while the clicking sound is made. When you change setting from A/C to heat, the clicking sound starts again. Initially, after the clicking sound stopped, the A/C and/or heat worked for driver and passenger sides. Now, at times, neither the A/C nor heat works. If either works, it is only one side and it shifts as to which side works. Both sides no longer work at once. Driver and passenger have separate A/C and heat controls. This happens when the car is off and there is not a key in the ignition. Also happens when car is on, while in drive and in park, stationary, moving, turning, stopped, etc. Always makes the clicking sound when unlocking and locking doors. Not fob related because clicking sound happens when manually unlocking and locking doors. This happens when the key is not in the ignition. (other Impala owners have told me they are having the same issue) the clicking soundstarted about 3 years ago and would happen occasionally. Now it happens every day, each time the door opens and after turning the car off. If we are unsure if doors are locked and use the key fob to lock, the clicking starts again.

Service ABS/stabilitrack is displaying often. Grinding noise, decreased power and car will nearly stop on you from time to time, particularly when turning. Taken to dealership, more than once, they get no codes on diagnostic. I believe this is a wiring issue. However, this defect is found in many years of the same make of vehicle. At times when turning, the stopping of the vehicle could harm or kill me or my family. There is bound to be lawsuits if this is not recalled. A search online produces hundreds with the same issue.

"takata recall" my vehicle ignition switch has went out and my " service air bag " light has came on as well. I searched my VIN number on this site and "0 recalls" shows up as a result. However its hard to believe that the exact same problems that was once recalled are both in tact on my vehicle. In addition to, I recently searched "ignition switch recall" on the recall list and "Chevy Impala 2013 " came up as result and that is currently the vehicle im driving and that is the problem im having. I reached out the dealership and they informed said my vehicle isn't listed for recalls however like stated before I have that same vehicle with the same problem and nothing can be done. To add more information dealership even informed that the recall has expired but the problem had just begun.

Actuator fails under dash causing A/C to fail in the Arizona desert. This is the 4 or 5th-time Chevrolet has replaced under my extended warranty and they claim it is a common problem with no recall as it is not safety related. A/C failure in the Arizona desert is definatly a safty issue.

The wire harness that controls the left front ABS and stabilitrak broke causing the ABS to engage on it's own while driving on the highway. After reading online it is apparent that this is a common problem with the Impala that even has a tsb for the problem. This is a extremely dangerous issue that should be recalled. I have attached a picture of the broken harness along with the $272.94 bill for having the dealer repair it.

My rear defrost stopped working one day so I inspected the harness for rear defrost and I noticed it was burnt up and melted and I am not the only one who has experirnced this issue. Lots of other Impala owners have the same problem. I cslled the dealer and asked if this was a recall and they said no this is a saftey hazard to me and plenty of other motorists.

At roughly 26,000 miles my ABS, stabilitrac, and traction control lights came on. I took my car to dealership to repair ignition recall, they replaced the ABS wire harness and corrected the the problem. At roughly 56,000 and 86,000 the ABS, stabilitrac, and traction control lights came back on. I am carrying my car back into the dealership again tomorrow for the 3rd time for the same issue. My car is now decelerating on its own and the wheels are abruptly locking. The car is moving during all of these incidents. My car has begun flashing ABS, stabilitrac, and traction control lights and abruptly decelerating on its own at 60/75 miles per hour.

"takata recall" I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Impala 02/2015. One month later my car stopped in me. I got the car towed to serra Chevrolet. They said I was out of gas which I didn't believe cause I was at qtr of tank. They said with the kind of engine I had qtr of a tank meant empty in my car. I didn't believe this. In 02/2016, on my way to work, my car stop on the interstate. I got the car towed to serra Chevrolet again. They said my fuel pump sensor and something else was gone. They used my extended warranty that I purchased w/ serra Toyota when I bought the vehicle. I lost my job due to this problem with this car. In 02/2017, the car stopped on me again. I got the car towed again to serra on 02/03/17. They said it was my fuel pump sensor. I had to pay $420.21 out of pocket on 02/09 to get my car. They said my extended warranty had expired. I don't understand cause my powertrain warranty haven't expired, I'm also still paying for an extended warranty with my carnote but I can't utilize, and I only used the extended warranty once. On 02/13/17 after I got my car from serra my car stop while I was driving again. I contacted serra. They paid for towing but I had to pay for an emc, which was $329.18. At the time, my car had 86,078 miles. On 4/28/2017, I don't know what they said was wrong but I paid $1,131.25 on 05/15/2017. I don't think they knew what was wrong. On 05/24/2017, my car messed up again, and I had to pay $133. Serra gave me a $32.95 discount cause I've had to spend so much money. At this time, I have 90668 miles on my car. On 06/21 or 27th, my serpintine belt broke and I had to pay $468. To hendrix Chevrolet. That was the closest Chevy store where my car stopped. Now 7/18/17 my car is back in the shop at serra. They say my crankshaft and something with my motor. My car have 93,586 miles. I was sold a lemon from serra Toyota. I have paid $2,481 since.
