This seems to be a problem with Impala, 44000- to 45000 miles and the front suspension is having problems, can and will possibly lead to a serious crash or worse, someone's death. My ABS brakes begin to lock up and I have difficult turning my vehicle. The fact that I have to pay a $250 deductible for something that I feel should not have occurred in such a short period of time is a testament that it is a faulty problem.
I just hope no one is killed because of this and again we hear the drawn out explanation of "I am sorry and we did not know". I also hope everyone who had to pay out of their pockets get reimbursed their money. But as you know, that is probably just wishful thinking.

I have been complaining for months about a clunk, grind, rub noise when I back up out of my driveway and parking spaces, no one else can ever seem to hear it when I try to tell them about it.

STILL WAITING TO SEE IF THEY CAN GET IT RIGHT. THEY HAVE ORDERED SUSPENSION PARTS. REPLACE A MOTOR AND TRANS MOUNT BUT I HAVE BEEN SAYING FROM THE START IT'S BRAKE CALIPER OR RACK AND PINION PROBLEM. WE WILL SEE WHO IS ULTIMATELY RIGHT. MY BET IS I AM. THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. I SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN THIS CAR. IT'S MY WORK CAR. GOT IT SEPT 2013 WITH NO MILES, NOW 37K ON IT. I KNOW EVERY LITTLE SOUND AND FEEL IT MAKES,

2013 Impala, 45,000 miles. For the past 6 months experiencing intermittent issues with clunking and grinding noise coming from lower front of engine area when accelerating from a stop, especially when turning to either side. Occurs mostly when vehicle has been parked for some time, but is getting more frequent each week. Lately, the ABS light flashes, the lights dim, and the engine looses power.
Took to Chevy dealer who charged me $ 125 and reported that they could not find anything wrong. I told them this is a common problem with these cars as evidenced by notations on this website. They told me they had no service bulletins on it or recalls. They said the only way they can determine the problem is if I bring the car to them when the ABS light is on so they can plug their computer in to read the code.
I believe that I will have a major failure or worse before I can demonstrate to Chevrolet the problem. I will keep track of events going forward, read websites, and speak to Service Departments at a few other Chevrolet Dealers in hopes of finding someone who will share the truth.
