Bought the 2013 Impala used. Drove 1 day and heard a grinding noise from the front as I drove out of my driveway.
Brought back to dealer. Dealer replace front back brakes and rotors, engine mount and strut mount took 9 days for repairs. Picked up car drove for about 30 miles and again same grinding noise except this time ABS light flashed every time the noise happened. Drove back to Dealer. Dealer ran full diagnostics, drove car for 35 miles could not duplicate problem
Problem is erratic and difficult to diagnose this problem. There is obviously something wrong with this 2013 Chevrolet impala LTZ
How many accidents or lives will it take General Motor to recall and fix this problem?

2013 IMPALA 12,000 MILES; FIRST TIME WHEN I BACKED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY, IT SOUNDED LIKE A STICK WAS RUBBING AGAINST THE TIRE... IT WASN'T THAT. I DROVE ONE BLOCK MADE A LEFT TURN, I HEARD THE GRINDING NOISE AGAIN. AS I DROVE ON I DIDN'T NOTICE IT ANYMORE... MAYBE A WEEK LATER, IT DID THE SAME THING AGAIN, AND AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE SERVICE DEPT WHERE I BOUGHT THE (NEW CAR), EXPLAINED THE GRINDING TO THEM; THEY CHECKED IT OUT BUT SAID THAT THEY COULDN'T FIND A THING WRONG. "WRONG" in my eyes and ears". I DON'T KNOW IF THEY TEST DROVE IT OR JUST LOOKED UNDER THE CAR. I TOOK IT BACK ANOTHER TIME AND THEY STILL COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG.
STILL TICKED OFF - I TOOK THE CAR TO A DIFFERENT 'CERTIFIED CHEVROLET DEALER' - JUNE 24, 2015 - CUSTOMER STATES THAT AFTER CAR IS PARKED OVER NIGHT OR AT LEAST FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS, WILL HEAR A GRIND WHEN AT A SLOW ACCELERATION IN DRIVE. LONGER THE CAR SITS, THE LOUDER THE GRIND....THE MECHANIC STATED IN REPORT - NOISE IN LEFT LOWER CONTROL SRM BUSHINGS. REPLACED LEFT LOWER CONTROL ARM.
ONE MONTH LATER ( 7/20/15) SAME THING - I STATED THAT THERE IS A RUBBING/GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM FRONT RIGHT WHEEL AREA. SUPPOSEDLY CHECKED ...... CUSTOMER STATES THE SOUND CAN BE HEARD IN PARKING SPOTS, DRIVEWAYS, AND INTERSECTIONS. SUPPOSEDLY CHECKED AGAIN. MECHANIC STATES THAT HE TIGHTENED CONTROL ARMS AND DROVE SEVERAL MORE TIMES - NO NOISE HEARD AFTER REPAIR.
EIGHT DAYS AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DONE, I AM MAKING A TURN IN A PARKING LOT AND THE SAME SOUND AGAIN. CAN ANYBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG AND HOW CAN IF BE FIXED?

Impala was making funky weird noise when starting cold and driving. I noticed one day that the traction control light was flashing, which meant that traction control was kicking on. It only did it when it was first started for the day. When I read through the manual, it said that for traction control to kick on like that is normal. The vehicle is "running tests," and since then it hasn't done it anymore. So weird...
