The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. While driving various speeds, the vehicle suddenly decelerated and the vehicle would not properly accelerate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the rocker arm and fuel injection were faulty and needed to be replaced; however, the parts were not available from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not notified. The failure mileage was 54,000.
