The stabiltrac light comes on, sometimes I lose power. Sometimes the back up camera doesn-??t work. Sometimes the parking brake light comes on the dash. Then ieverything will suddenly go away and everything is fine, only to have the same problems. This has been happening for months. I took it to the dealer multiple times and they are unable to fix it.

I had this repaired once before and now it is doing it again. The stability and traction light are on and access brake system lights and TPMS lights are on. It makes a grinding crunching dragging noise when turn the wheel. Sometimes so bad on the drag like its rubbing against something it almost stops the vehicle. As far as safety risks yes the dragging crunching sound stops the vehicle and if turning it sort of stalls you, no traction or stability.the warning lights reappeared about a month ago. Pep boys couldn't get the TPMS system to work after replacing tires back in 2020 in Feb.

Went to pick my daughter up from school. Came back and parked my car as usual. When I attempted to restart my car the engine ruled up and the car would barely move. Upon further investigation, I observed the vehicle motor notification light on as well as the parking brake notification with a tool ( wrench) underneath. I attempted to disengage the brake and it said the brakes have been released. However, the brake notification signal is still flashing and the vehicle seems to be driving like the brakes are still engaged.

When turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and accelerating the ABS activates and the ABS light momentarily comes on. I jacked up the front of the car to investigate and found that I could create the error by jiggling the wire to the ABS sending unit. Google the error and notice dozens of others with the same issue.

Once the contact applied the emergency brake, the vibration recurred. The contact placed the old rotors back on the vehicle in an effort to alleviate the vibration. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 14V541000 (parking brake). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. Whenever I turn the steering wheel to the left, the stabilitrack and ABS dashboard lights come on and the read-out panel says both systems need service and these lights stay on and the systems shut-off making the vehicle less safe. I should point out that the lights come on when the pavement is drive and its warm out. Why is this happening to the relatively new car with barely 50,000 miles. The car is designed to be driven with the stabilitrack and ABS systems working properly. I've looking into this on-line and it appears many people with Impala's are experiencing the same issue. People have paid to have paid to have the wheel bearing assemblies replace, brakes replace, sensors replaces, only to have the "service" light come back on soon after the service has been completed. From my reading, it appears GM needs to issue a recall to fix this issue. Thank you

NHTSA G issues with the ABS and traction control lights keep coming on and off, and the more I surcharge about it, it seens to be that a lot of owners having the same problem with their Chevy Impala, when you turn left is when the lights come on then seconds or minutes after that the go away and its been doing for a while, so I change the wheels hubs assembly, brake pads and still having the same problem, so lm very surprised that it hasn't coughed the attention so many owners having same problem with they Chevy Impala... tanks
