problem #1

Impala Premier 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

Once driven (such as to store) car will not re-start. This will happen randomly. When it will not re-start, it's as if there is no battery in the vehicle. Absolutely nothing, no dash lights, nothing. Wait 5 to 10 minutes, and the dash lights slowly come on one by one, will re-start. Pre-sets on radio and clock are sometime saved, sometimes not. Had it in the shop twice, ran diagnostic, could not not find anything wrong. They could not replicate problem as well. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE!!!!!! Don't know my next step, but felt this needed to be communicated.
