Transmission failure due to something as simple as programming. I complained to the dealer of transmission problems before this even happened. The transmission seemed to be shifting strange. They told me that they could not fix Allison transmissions and that I had to find a authorized repair facility. It failed and had to be removed and repaired. I was informed that this was all due to the programming. They had to reprogram the tcu because the exhaust brake was causing too much overlap in the clutches causing them to burn. I received a notification of this needed repair after the failure. Needless to say, it's back in the shop for transmission repair.
