Lumina Euro 3.1L

This car has been a major pain in my ass. I had a fuel pump put on in July and I thought maybe it wasn't any good cause I bought it used. But thats not the problem.The problem is it won t get any spark. We put on a control modulator and it still won't start. please help me any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. HELP!
