I bought my car with the knowledge that the AC doesn't work. I got an estimate to fix it (compressor, new coolant, possibly new hoses, etc.) and it was $700. Since I only paid $1350 for the car at 100,000 miles, I decided not to fix it. Man is it hot in there!
