Malibu LS 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

I bought this piece of crap Malibu in 02 and will never buy a Malibu again. A golf cart is more reliable transportation then this piece of crap. I have had problem after problem with this car.

The stupid AC/Heater blower only works on setting 3 and 4. 1 and 2 give you nothing. So I'm either sweating my butt off or freezing as there is no comfort level to having your hair blasted with either hot or cold air. Usually in all seasons I have to leave my window cracked in my car while driving to compensate for the blasting heat or air.

As soon as I finish this complaint I will be adding more under more categories as I have also spent close to a thousand dollars having the intake manifold gasket replaced twice, which apparently is another known problem with this piece of sh*t car.

I never had the blower fixed because quite frankly I don't want to waste another penny and as soon as I have some money saved this pain in my butt is going to a dealer lot.

Malibu 3.1L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

I am so pissed off! I bought this car thinking I would not have to drive a cold freaking car. Of course that did not work. Living in Ohio it also gets hot here too, believe it not and the thought of AC and working heat was wonderful. The freaking blower motor does not work now and the car is cold all the bloody time! There are other complaints but I don't know where to begin with them. I will not buy another piece of crap Malibu again!!!!

Malibu LS 3.2L V6

I replaced this part myself. Chevrolet hid it just above the passenger's feet and you almost have to stand on your head to get at it.

Malibu V6

This has been a problem since I purchased the car in 2002. It was only working on settings 3,4, & 5. As of 02/16/07, settings 3 & 4 quit working. Talk about major inconvenience - it's 0 degrees here.
